Description

George Bass Coastal Walk – Punch Bowl to Kilcunda

We meet in the small town of Kilkunda, before making our way to Punch Bowl where the hike commences. Hiking back towards Kilkunda along an undulating grassy path, nestled between the ocean and rolling hills, we will enjoy spectacular panoramic coastal views as we explore the untouched beaches and headlands east of Phillip Island. For thousands of years the Bunurong indigenous people looked out over the treacherous stretch of water known today as Bass Strait. In 1797 the explorer George Bass made his epic voyage from Sydney Cove to this wild and lonely coastline.

Mindfulness exercises, qigong, delicious whole foods lunch, snacks and afternoon tea will be enjoyed along the way.
