Catherine sees clients via telehealth on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Catherine sees clients via telehealth. Telehealth refers to psychology sessions conducted over video or telephone. It is essential that you are able to access a private and confidential space to ensure privacy for your sessions.

Payment is required on the day of the session. You can pay with credit or debit card.

Fees are $250 for a 50-minute session.

Please note that the Australian Psychological Society’s recommended fee is $318 for a 50 minute session. The current Medicare rebate is $145.25 per session

If you are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, the Medicare rebate is $145.25 per session for 10 sessions per calendar year. If you are eligible, Medicare rebates will be automatically rebated to your nominated Medicare bank account.

If your private health insurance covers psychology services, we can provide an invoice for you to submit directly to your insurer.

Please note that rebates can only be claimed once per session—that is, either from Medicare or from private health insurance, not both.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please contact us as soon as possible so that we can offer your appointment to someone on Catherine’s waiting list.

Catherine has a strict 2-business day* cancellation policy. This means that if you cancel or change your appointment within 2 business days you will be charged a cancellation fee.

Cancellation fees:

  • 50% of the session fee if advised 1-2 business days prior to the session
  • 100% of the session fee for no shows or non-emergency cancellations within 24 hours of the session

*A ‘business day’ is any normal weekday, other than a Public Holiday.
