Bells Beach to Point Addis – Great Otway National Park

We meet at Point Addis, near Torquay, on Victoria’s stunning surf coast, before being transported to iconic Bells Beach where our hike commences. Hiking back to Point Addis we venture through the beautiful inland sheltered forest of the Ironbark Basin in the Great Otway National Park before rejoining the coast above Addiscot Beach. This invigorating hike has it all – spectacular coastal views, red cliffs, sandy bays, coastal heathlands, ironbark and messmate forests and the Point Addis Koorie Cultural Walk.

Mindfulness exercises, qigong and delicious whole foods lunch, snacks and afternoon tea will be enjoyed along the way.

Grade: Medium. 12km. This hike is undulating and includes a few uphill sections. Sturdy bushwalking shoes or boots are recommended for this hike, as parts of the hike are uneven underfoot.

Start time: Arrive between 9:30am – 9:45am for a 10:00am departure.

Finish time: Approximately 3:00pm – 3:30pm

Pre-hike information, including a confidential medical form, will be emailed prior to the hike. You will be required to complete the medical form in order to participate. Please note that a moderate level of fitness is essential. If you are unsure please consult your doctor before making a booking.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds or credits will be provided for non-attendance; however, you can transfer your place to another person should you be unable to attend. 24 hours notice is required if sending someone in your place. If the hike is cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will have the option of receiving a refund or a credit for another Mindful Hiking Day.
