Golden Gullies Circuit Walk – Castlemaine Diggings National Heritage Park

Enjoy a relaxing and restorative day out in nature! We will enjoy a lovely 9km circuit starting and finishing at Vaughan Springs. The forests and woodlands immediately south of Vaughan Springs offer some of the loveliest walking in the Castlemaine region. We begin by meandering along a water race, enjoying the surrounding red gums, manna gums and candlebarks before turning away from the river into Sailors Gully. We return to our starting point at Vaughan Springs where you can sample the naturally sparkling mineral water that flows freely from Lawson Spring.
