Bells Beach to Point Addis – Great Otway National Park

This spectacular circuit hike starts and finishes at Bells Beach on Victoria’s magnificent surf coast. For the first 4km we walk along a beautiful and remote stretch of beach towards Point Addis before turning inland into the sheltered forest of the Ironbark Basin in the Great Otway National Park. Walking back to Bells Beach through beautiful coastal heathland, we are rewarded with magnificent ocean views. This invigorating hike has it all – spectacular coastal beaches, ocean views, red cliffs, sandy bays, coastal heathlands, ironbark and messmate forests and The Koorie Cultural Walk.

Mindfulness exercises and delicious whole foods snacks and lunch will be enjoyed along the way.

Grade: Medium. 12km. This hike is undulating and includes a few uphill sections. Sturdy bushwalking shoes or boots are recommended for this hike, as parts of the hike are uneven underfoot.

Start time: Arrive between 9:30am and 9:45 for a 10:00am departure.

Pre-hike information, including a confidential medical form, will be emailed approximately 2 weeks prior to the hike. You will be required to complete the medical form in order to participate. Please note that a moderate level of fitness is essential. If you are unsure please consult your doctor before making a booking.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds or credits will be provided for non-attendance; however, you can transfer your place to another person should you be unable to attend. 24 hours notice is required if sending someone in your place. If the hike is cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will have the option of receiving a refund or a credit for another Mindful Hiking Day.
