Anakie Gorge – Ted Errey Nature Circuit – Brisbane Ranges National Park

This wonderful hike commences in Anakie Gorge, one of the loveliest places in the Brisbane Ranges National Park, before continuing on to the Ted Errey Nature Circuit. Ted Errey was a founding member and past president of the Geelong Field Naturalist Club who dedicated much of his life to studying the rich flora of this area. We will walk through open woodland, lush valleys, and up rocky ridges stopping to enjoy our surroundings, including a number of scenic lookouts, along the way.

Mindfulness exercises and delicious whole foods snacks and lunch will be enjoyed along the way.

Grade: Medium. 12km. This hike is undulating and includes a few steep uphill sections. Sturdy bushwalking shoes or boots and a good level of fitness are essential for this hike. Parts of the hike are rocky and uneven underfoot.
